The Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management Masters Network (QTEM) brings together outstanding students, leading academic partners and corporations at an international level. All Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management Masters Network graduates also complete an internship before the end of the program thanks to an exclusive network of corporate partners. This prepares them for a successful career as analysts and consultants, in the financial, banking and private industry.

Alessandra Genco is the CFO of Leonardo, the Italian aerospace and defense company. She was previously Vice President Group Finance, in charge of capital markets, treasury, investments and insurance activities.
Prior to joining Leonardo, she spent seven years in the US where she worked in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs as Vice President in their New York Office.
She covered clients across numerous industries, including financial sponsors. She holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a M.Sc. in Economics from Luiss Guido Carli University. She is on the board of various companies, in Europe and in the US. Strongly committed to the theme of diversity, she serves as mentor of talented young women.
I am a second-year student in Marketing, coming to Luiss after graduating from St Petersburg University in Russia in order to have an international experience and I believe that it was the right choice to build the career I am chasing.
Recently I started an internship at Jaguar Land Rover Italy. The competition for that position was tough, including a lot of steps like tests and interviews, which I wouldn’t have passed without the skills I acquired while studying at Luiss.
My position is in the marketing area, which fully corresponds to my goal to develop practical skills as well as a global overview of marketing functions in an international company.
