The Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management Masters Network (QTEM) brings together outstanding students, leading academic partners and corporations at an international level. This challenging opportunity enables students to develop analytical and quantitative skills whileenhancing their decision-making abilities in an international context.
The Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management Masters Network is a two-year, full-time program, offered by a network of 23 leading academic partners and top companies to give students international and intercultural insight, while developing quantitative and analytical skills in order to match employers demands. Students also have the chance to spend up to two semesters abroad with two prestigious partner institutions. All Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management Masters Network graduates also complete an internship before the end of the program thanks to an exclusive network of corporate partners. This prepares them for a successful career as analysts and consultants, in the financial, banking and private industry.

Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Italy, Ambassador Elisabetta Belloni assumed her duties on May 5th 2016, after holding the post of Chief of Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, Hon. Paolo Gentiloni, from June 2015 to May 2016. Born in Rome in 1958, she studied Political Science at Luiss Guido Carli University of Rome, where she graduated in 1982. She joined the Foreign Service in 1985.
In August 1986 she was seconded to the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) in Vienna. As Second Secretary in the Office for the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe CSCE (1989-1992), she represented Italy at the Vienna Negotiations as Deputy Head of Delegation for CSBM (Confidence and Security Building Measures). She was also Member of the Italian Delegation to the Helsinki Meeting on CSCE negotiations (1992).
She was First Secretary at the Italian Permanent Mission to the International Organisations in Vienna (1993-1996) and Head of the Economic and Commercial Office in the Embassy of Italy in Bratislava (1996-1999).
Back to Rome, she served in the Directorate-General for European Countries and then as Chief of Cabinet to the Under-Secretary of State in charge of European Affairs (2002-2004). As Head of the Ministry’s Crisis Management Unit from 2005 to 2008, she was in charge of the Italian response to major international crises and natural catastrophes.
Ambassador Belloni held the posts of Director General for Development Cooperation (2008 – 2012) and Director General for Human Resources, Budget and Innovation (2013 – 2015) in the Italian Foreign Ministry. She is a member of the Luiss Board of directors.
QTEM Masters Network
After a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management, I enrolled in the Master’s program in Finance and participated in QTEM, an amazing experience both at an academic level and at a personal level, which helped me develop useful skills for the future market.
I now live in Frankfurt, where I work as an analyst in the Finance Directorate of the European Central Bank, dealing with budgeting, strategic planning, project governance and management reporting. In the future I’d like to continue this career in large-scale international institutions.
