QTEM Masters Network

Master's Degree Programs

The QTEM – Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management – Masters Network brings together outstanding students, leading Academic Partners and Corporations at an international level. This challenging opportunity will enable students to develop analytical and quantitative skills, enhancing decision-making abilities in an international context.

After completing the program, students will receive the QTEM degree – a Master’s supra-national certificate issued by the whole QTEM network – on top of the Master’s degree issued by LUISS University.
The program is taught entirely in English.

Program Insights

The QTEM is a two-year, full-time program, offered by a network of 23 leading Academic Partners and top companies that will give you an international and intercultural insight, while developing quantitative and analytical skills in order to match employers demands. Students will have the chance to spend up to two semesters abroad in two prestigious partner institutions. In order to access QTEM, students need to:

  • Apply via this website to one of the following LUISS Master’s Degree Programs:
    • Economics (except for RoME)
    • Finance
    • Corporate Finance
    • Banche e Intermediari Finanziari (in Italian)
  • Apply specifically for the QTEM following the procedure stated in the Call for Application, which will be published in mid-December 2017, available on the LUISS website. Requirements include a:
    • C1 English language level certificate
    • GMAT of minimum 600, or equivalent GRE.
Students will be admitted to the QTEM program only if both selections are positive* and, therefore, students are successfully enrolled in one of the Master’s Degree Programs mentioned above.*In case a student is admitted in LUISS but not QTEM, the candidate may re-apply to QTEM during their 1st year of Master’s Degree Programs mentioned above.

Study Plan
Shape your degree! The QTEM Masters program will give you the chance to combine semesters at LUISS and abroad - up to two among the academic partners - and an internship. By following courses in specific areas of expertise, you will specialize in up to 2 of the QTEM Modules mentioned below:

  • Business Intelligence and Big Data
An individual study plan will be agreed by each student with the academic coordinator prior to the mobility. The proposal will need to match the study plans of the LUISS Master’s Degree Programs available:
Job Opportunities

All QTEM graduate will have successfully completed a corporate / institutional internship before the end of the program, also through the access to an exclusive network of corporate partners. This prepares them for a successful career as analysts and consultants, in the financial, banking and private industry. Quantitative skills are highly requested in the job market and a key feature for future decision-makers.
