The bachelor’s degree program in Management and Computer Science has a significant presence of digital and technological topics, and a specific focus on computing and on business analytics. These skills are also integrated with traditional foundational courses in Economics, Business Management, Law and Statistics.
The core of the program focuses on collecting and analyzing big data in order to extract knowledge and produce value from digital data. To develop those skills, students are given a solid preparation on algorithms and coding starting from their first year, and further refine their knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, database management and business analytics in their second year. In their third and final year, students focus on data science applications in many areas, such as cybersecurity, business and entrepreneurship.The program already has an exchange program with Paris Dauphine, and is currently developing other exchange programs with several international universities. Through those partnerships, students can spend their final year abroad, creating a multicultural experience thanks also in part to the presence of foreign instructors and students.

Erasmus+ and Bilateral Exchange Programs
The Luiss Student Exchange Office manages and promotes student exchanges within the Erasmus Program, as well as through bilateral exchange agreements with non-European universities. The procedures are based on the ECTS system. All eligible students can apply to be selected for an opportunity to study abroad on an Erasmus+ or Bilateral exchange in one of our several partner Institutions. Our Erasmus+/Bilateral network currently boasts 218 agreements with Higher Education Institutions in 46 countries, and it grows every year.

CFO Gruppo Leonardo - Finmeccanica
Graduated in Business & Management, 1996
Alessandra Genco is the CFO of Leonardo, the Italian aerospace and defense company. She was previously Vice President Group Finance, in charge of capital markets, treasury, investments and insurance activities.
Prior to joining Leonardo, she spent seven years in the US where she worked in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs as Vice President in their New York Office.
She covered clients across numerous industries, including financial sponsors. She holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a M.Sc. in Economics from Luiss Guido Carli University. She is on the board of various companies, in Europe and in the US. Strongly committed to the theme of diversity, she serves as mentor of talented young women.
I began working at P&G in Geneva through an internship in F&A (Finance & Accounting) during the last semester of the master’s program in Management. Working and completing my thesis was a challenge, with intense workdays that ended at 6:00 p.m. I began with the Hair Care department in a multifunctional and dynamic team with top talent from Europe’s best universities. I was even given a project to work on independently, which allowed me to demonstrate how much I had grown.
Following the internship I was offered a permanent position in F&A, but in a different position with respect to my internship. P&G allows employees the opportunity to change assignments every two years in order to continue their professional development. I can only encourage current students to apply if they are interested in working in a dynamic, international environment that is full of educational opportunities.
