“Do not wait for things to happen, make them happen”. This is the most important lesson I learned from my academic and professional career.
After a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from Luiss, I was accepted to the Double Degree program with Fudan University in Shanghai. I know that living and studying so far from home is not a common choice, but I am absolutely sure it pays dividends. It turned out to be an invaluable educational and personal experience, which provided me with a competitive advantage and the right skills to be successful in our multicultural business world.
After completing an internship with Intesa San Paolo’s Corporate and Investment Banking division in Shanghai, I started looking for new challenging experiences. Therefore, I applied for an off-cycle internship with J.P. Morgan Milan and after six thrilling months, they asked me to join as an Investment Banking Analyst in London, where I currently live.
Making your dreams reality requires “jumping off the cliff” and when I moved to China, I could not even imagine that I would have “landed” exactly where I had always dreamt to be.
